If you’re a patron, you’re aware that the Daily Karnal Captions often contain multiple, many minute-long lenghted captions. Some DKC posts have three or more three minute plus long captions in them. Some even have two different 5-minute-long captions in them.
This was never what the DKC was meant to be. It was supposed to be just still images with a few gifs thrown in there (look at the first few months of DKC posts and you’ll see this to be the case).
Originally, every caption that was over a minute long was meant to be a Karnal Klub Exclusive. But along the way, somehow the DKC captions kept getting longer and longer. As a result, getting the DKC done on a daily basis kept getting harder and harder. And every time I failed to get the DKC finished for a given day, I felt super depressed and like a complete failure.
Also, this meant getting a DKC done with multiple multi minute long captions could take two days to get done. Sometimes three. And this meant two to three days of me hating myself. Then I’d finish the DKC and be faced with the same problem the following day.
It also meant every waking and free minute of my day was spent trying to get the DKC done. It’s literally all I do.
So, this post is to say, I can’t cpontinue like that anymore. The DKC is killing me. There will now be less DKC posts. I don’t want to end it completely. It might return back to still images again… and there might be some lengthy captions that find their way in there from time to time. But you will be saeing less DKC posts.
But on the bright side, there will be more Karnal Klub eclusives. All those multi minute captions will now just appear all by themselves as Karnal Klub Exclsuives.
Hopefully, this does not disappoint you. It’s just I have to do it, or I think I might fling myself off a bridge…
