So I do most of my video editing in Canva. Canva is a design editing tool kind of like photoshop if you don’t know what it is.
Anyway it has been down for HOURS. Canva does go down from time to time, but works 99 percent of the time, all the time. But this is one of those times where it’s just not working.
I miss the good old days when you could buy a program and have it on your computer without the necessity of it being connected to some damn internet server.
So there will be no Daily Karnal Captions update for 7-07-2025, and for once it’s not my fault. Canva has provided their paying customers with a doctor’s note. (link to tweet: https://x.com/canva/status/1942473304746434898)
I’m not terribly offended by the doctor’s note thing, but I find it kind of surprising that someone thought it was a good idea to post it. If you just tell your customers, “hey, sorry I couldn’t provide you service because of technical difficulties,” people can accept that even if it’s frustrating. But to tell your customers, “haha, here’s a little joke about me being unable to give you service,” it seems kind of risque.
Personally, my feelings aren’t hurt. It takes a lot to offend me. But people are pretty livid about the “joke” in the replies to Canva’s tweet.
Anyway, here’s some free hots.
